6io Charts Terms of Use

1. Accepting the terms

By listening, publishing, commenting or otherwise using Charts, you accept these Terms, the Publishing rules and the procedure for copyright holders. If you do not agree, do not use Charts.

Charts is intended for users aged 16 and over. By publishing content you confirm that you are at least 16.

2. Role of the platform

Tracks, covers, lyrics, comments, playlists and artist pages are posted by users. The owner of Charts does not create, select or modify this content and does not decide who can access it. With respect to such content the owner acts as an information intermediary within the meaning of Article 1253.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.

The owner does not review content before it is published and has no obligation to do so. If a moderator looks at a track (for example, one uploaded outside 6io), this is the owner’s right, not an obligation, and does not mean the track has been checked for legality or for anyone’s rights.

Content and the opinions expressed in it belong to their authors and may differ from the owner’s position.

3. Author’s responsibility

By publishing content you represent that you are its author or have obtained all necessary rights and consents — for the music, lyrics, performance, voice, cover and images of people — and that publishing it does not break the law or anyone’s rights.

The user who published content bears full responsibility for it. If claims, lawsuits or demands are brought against the owner of Charts because of your content, you agree to settle them yourself and at your own expense and to compensate the owner for its losses, including legal costs, fines and damages.

Songs on Charts are made with artificial intelligence. It is up to you to decide whether such music may be published and used, including under the terms of the tools used to create it.

4. Rights to content

You keep the rights to the content you publish. By publishing it you grant the owner of Charts a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence for as long as the content is published: to store and reproduce it, to process it technically (compress audio, make covers of different sizes and waveforms) and to make it available on Charts and in 6io services, including in collections, the chart and search.

You also allow the track, excerpts of it, its title, cover and artist name to be used in advertising and promotion of 6io and Charts with credit to the author. Advertising released before the track was removed may continue to run.

Listeners may listen to tracks on Charts for personal, non-commercial purposes. Downloading, re-uploading or commercial use of other people’s tracks requires their author’s permission.

5. Removal and restriction of access

Authors can hide or delete their tracks, comments and playlists at any time.

The owner may at any time, without giving reasons and without prior notice, hide, take down or delete any content, exclude a track from the chart, or restrict or block an artist page and account, including following a user report, a copyright holder’s notice or a legal requirement.

Following a copyright holder’s notice, a track is hidden as soon as the notice is received and until a decision is made. The procedure is described on the “Copyright holders” page.

6. Limitation of liability

Charts is provided “as is”. The owner does not guarantee that Charts will work without interruptions or errors, that content will be preserved, or any chart position or number of listens, likes or followers.

The owner is not liable for users’ content, its compliance with the law and third-party rights, the consequences of listening to or using it, or the actions of other users.

The owner is not liable for lost profits, indirect losses or loss of content. Keep copies of your tracks.

The limitations in this section apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Chart, listens and likes

The owner decides how the chart, listens and likes are counted and may change this. Suspicious activity is not counted. Manipulation is grounds for excluding a track from the chart, taking it down or blocking the account.

8. Changes to these Terms

The owner may change these Terms. A new version takes effect when published on this page. By continuing to use Charts you accept the new version.
